Care and maintenance instructions
To ensure you maintain your warranty and gain the maximum benefits from your choice of rainwater goods, we recommend the following:
Washing of naturally unwashed areas at least every 6 months (painted surface of spouting, fascia and downpipes).
Removal of debris from gutters every 6 months.
Removal of any noticeable build-up of salt deposits and/or other contaminants when identified.
General Care:
Do not water blast the inside of your spouting as this can cause leaking at the joins.
The best method of washing your spouting is the use of a soft nylon broom or brush, mild detergent and a garden hose.
Avoid leaning ladders against your spouting as scratches and indentations are difficult to repair.
When cleaning or treating your roof for moss, mould etc., use caution as some cleaning products are very caustic and can reduce the life of your spouting.
When considering over-painting, please consult with your Continuous Agent to ensure the correct procedures are taken.
