Specialty Range

Brights, specialty mattes and hard-wearing PVDF paint finishes, for a home that wants something different.

Our Specialty Range adds 20 colours and colour variants: brights, metallics, specialty mattes and MagnaFlow Plus, a high resin build PVDF paint finish. Each colour comes on MagnaFlow (Mag-200 or Mag-150), MagnaFlow Plus or ColorSteel Maxam-150, shown under the colour below.

Specialty Range material

MagnaFlow, MagnaFlow Plus and ColorSteel Maxam prepainted steel

Mag-200 and Mag-150 are ColorCote MagnaFlow, and Maxam-150 is ColorSteel Maxam. Not every Specialty colour comes with the thicker Mag-200 coating.

The number is the coating weight. Mag-200 carries 200 g/m² of metallic coating (the combined weight of all its layers), and Mag-150 carries 150 g/m². Maxam-150 is ColorSteel's equivalent, at 150 g/m².

MagnaFlow Plus (PVDF paint)

For additional protection in industrial environments, MagnaFlow Plus comes with a 70% PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) paint system. The exterior coat contains at least 70% PVDF resin in the dry paint film, with a nominal paint film thickness of 20 microns, for outstanding colour and gloss retention.

Use MagnaFlow Plus (chemically resistant paint) for industrial and geothermal sites. In this range it comes in Grey Friars, Gull Grey, Ironsand and Titania.
